July 1, 2019 (NORMAN, Okla.) Red River Youth Academy is pleased to announce that it has entered into a management consulting agreement with Vizion Health LLC, a privately-owned healthcare company located in Charlotte, N.C. Vizion brings a seasoned behavioral healthcare team with decades of experience and a reputation for ethical, trustworthy, and successful business practices to the 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility in Norman, Okla.
Red River Youth Academy focuses on treating children and adolescents experiencing severe anger, aggression, and defiance. The facility began operations on July 1, 2015.

Vizion’s management team is led by CEO Mark Schneider, who has more than four decades of experience operating a broad spectrum of behavioral health facilities. Stephen Chesney, Vizion’s Chief Operating Officer, brings more than 30 years of experience operating multi-site and multi-state psychiatric businesses. Dr. Ann Miller, a recognized national expert in the substance abuse treatment industry, is Vizion’s Chief Development Officer.
Vizion owns Willow Crest Hospital and Moccasin Bend Ranch in Miami, Okla.; and Panola Medical Center in Batesville, Miss. The company also manages Fort Behavioral Health, an addiction treatment and residential autism facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
Red River Youth Academy is accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. SoonerCare, most commercial insurance, and private pay are accepted.
